REPRESENTATIVE

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with a sales script on outbound calls to generate new customers
  • Process sales orders and credit notes
  • Initiate and process purchase orders
  • Provide detailed product information and input orders into a database
  • Forward completed paperwork in a timely manner to purchasing for further processing
  • Maintain an expanding knowledge base of product information
  • Manage difficult customers and escalated calls as required
  • Respond to customer complaints ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Participate in calling activities and exercises between Sign of the Times and its partner agencies
  • Maintain all Practice Firm contact information and ensure lists are updated as new information is provided
  • Respond to general inquiries from other Practice Firms within two business days
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of filing systems
  • Accounts receivable
  • Assist other affiliates with word processing documents as requested
  • Perform data entry tasks as requested

Skill Requirements:

  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail
  • Strong oral and written English an asset
  • Ability to communicate effectively and use initiative
  • Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision
  • Basic computer knowledge, e-mail and Internet
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Ability to work in a team environment
