PUBLIC RELATIONS Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop marketing and communications plans for products and services
- Develop catalogue promoting the products and services
- Develop and implement a communication plan, complete with appropriate communication tools to promote Sign of the Times
- Develop and present product knowledge seminars for affiliates
- Coordinate with Sales Representative to compose sales scripts and processes to be used by Customer Service Representative
- Assist the Operation Coordinator with the development of a Trade Show booth display
Communications: - Works in co-ordination with management to develop a comprehensive communication strategy as part of an overall marketing plan
- Develop and implement a communication plan complete with appropriate advertistments and communication tools to promote Sign of the Times
- Create promotional material
- Co-ordinate with graphic design and the marketing representative affiliate to produce catalogue
- Prepare press releases
- Compose advertising copy for advertisement and promotional material
Skills Requirements: - Managerial skills a must
- One year's experience working in the communication field or relevant, equivalent education
- Ability to communicate effectively using intiative
- Self-starter and work with minimal supervision
- Experience and competence in using computer hardware and software such as Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and navigating through Windows Operating System
- Ability to multi-task with an attention to detail
- Knowledge and/or experience writing press releases
- Experience with event co-ordination
