PUBLIC RELATIONS

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop marketing and communications plans for products and services
  • Develop catalogue promoting the products and services
  • Develop and implement a communication plan, complete with appropriate communication tools to promote Sign of the Times
  • Develop and present product knowledge seminars for affiliates
  • Coordinate with Sales Representative to compose sales scripts and processes to be used by Customer Service Representative
  • Assist the Operation Coordinator with the development of a Trade Show booth display

Communications:

  • Works in co-ordination with management to develop a comprehensive communication strategy as part of an overall marketing plan
  • Develop and implement a communication plan complete with appropriate advertistments and communication tools to promote Sign of the Times
  • Create promotional material
  • Co-ordinate with graphic design and the marketing representative affiliate to produce catalogue
  • Prepare press releases
  • Compose advertising copy for advertisement and promotional material

Skills Requirements:

  • Managerial skills a must
  • One year's experience working in the communication field or relevant, equivalent education
  • Ability to communicate effectively using intiative
  • Self-starter and work with minimal supervision
  • Experience and competence in using computer hardware and software such as Microsoft Office, Internet Explorer and navigating through Windows Operating System
  • Ability to multi-task with an attention to detail
  • Knowledge and/or experience writing press releases
  • Experience with event co-ordination
  • Professional image
